I simulate a flood case in a river section and I give a Time series for Q at the upstream boundary and a Stage-Discharge-Curve at the downstream boundary.

The Problem is that at the downstream boundary the discharge is too low compared with measured values.

I trtied different Strickler Values for BOTTOM Friction and also different downstream boundary conditions but it did not have any effect. Is there a nother possible reason why the downsteam discharge is too low?

I measured the downstream discharge with a controlsection file. The control section file is located some meters in front of the downstream boundary.

From an hydraulics point of view, the illustration of the discharge at the control section look likes a higher damp of flow in your model than in the reality.
This could be due to an effect of the flood plain ...

Hard to say but why not?
You should look at the model results arrount 8000 - 10000 m3/s where the control section give visible difference of comportment in comaprison to measurment
