open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi,

I updated my code to V7p1 this morning. I ran a simulation using 7 cores and had a very upsetting error message as shown in attached image. In addition to that issue, I can no longer see my temporary result files in the run folder.
I tried to run 'gretel' command alone, without much success.
Any clue?

NUMBER OF PLANES should be equal to 1 in T2D simulations.

Generally V7p1 works good under Windows 7, 8 and 10 with the usual temporary run folder etc.

Why should I use NUMBER OF PLANES in T2D? I use this keyword when running T3D but I have never added it in my steering file for T2D. Is there any reason?

Regarding the temporary run folder, I still don't see temp. run files even if the simulation is running. This is the first time it's happening with me.

Hi Aissa,

what I meant, if you are running gretel manually for a T2D simulation you should specify 1 for the number of planes.
It's really strange regarding the temporary folder. According to your screenshot, gretel finds the files, but where?, and the error happens after the NUMBER OF PLANES query.

Maybe the Telemac developers can you help further.

This is a bug in release V7P1 which is now fixed in the newly released tag V7P1r1 that you can find on the SVN.
Otherwise you have to do as explained by Clemens, number of planes=1 (Gretel is used also for T3D, that's why it asks for this parameter)
