Hello,

To my knowledge, if you are intrested in coastal engineering applications you can study the littoral test case in the Sisyphe/examples directory. For sediment transport in rivers, I found the example of the Yen exmperiment in the same directory quite helpful.

Kind regards,
Andreas

In my humble opinion, the key morphological model examples in the opentelemac structure are:
  • Bosse (several versions) looking at a dune development in a flume,
  • sandpit looking at the infill of a trench in a flume
  • Yen morphology of a river bend (single grain and multigrain option)
  • St-Lazare for a marine example

Sediment transport test cases in (not focussed on morphological change) are:
  • Littoral
  • Foulness

Thank you for your answers, I was reviewing the mentioned cases and I have built a channel which I enter a solid flow, but the sediment accumulates in the entrance area.

Please if you have time, review the case.

thanks.

Good afternoon,

I am working with the sisyphe module, it is possible to enter a hydrogram with its solid discharges curve.

If it is possible, you could explain to me which is the procedure to follow.

I thank the suggestions.

Hello,
Yes, it's possible. In the Sisyphe's steering file add the keywords:

LIQUID BOUNDARIES FILE = 'name.dat'

with name.dat containing the following information (for boundary X for example):

T QG(X)
s M3/S
0. 0.001
3600. 0.001
7200. 0.001
10800. 0.001
14400. 0.001

Cheers,

Pablo
