open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Dear all,

Has anyone in the telemac-community ever integrated or applied the non-equilibrium sediment transport model? which uses pick-up rate.

I am interested to apply similar to my study.

So can anyone suggest how can we modify the current sediment transport model to include the non-equilibrium approach?

There was a routine bedload_neq_bed_load.f in which the non-equilibrium bed load was calculated. It was skipped somewhere between v5 and v6 versions as nobody had used it at that time and the results were not changing significantly. The concept of Tran Thuc (1991) was used and an average saltation step length of particles Ls was calculated from a formula of van Rijn. I found a description of an early implementation and source code.

I would be interested in a new attempt to integrate non-equilibrium bed load transport.
