Dear all.

Thanks to the help from the forum, I have run a coupling case of telemac2d and SISYPHE successfully before. Now I want to turn to Telemac-3D + Sisyphe, and I meet some questions in the process of learning.

1.I learned from the forum that the suspended load needs to be calculated in Telemac-3d for 3D simulation. The sediment in my study is cohesive which doesn't need to consider bedload transport. Does it mean that Telemac-3d can be directly used to simulate sediment transport without coupling with SISYPHE?

2.I found there was no option for the output of bed shear stress in Telemac-3D.Is this only possible for Sisyphe?

3.Is there any manuals or examples for SEDI-3D or Telemac-3d + Sisyphe? I did not find them in the documentation of Telemac-3D and Sisyphe.

Hello Gareth,

Now, we advise to use the new sediment module called GAIA, which main goal among others is to unify the sediment processes in 2D and 3D, see e.g.:
cerfacs.fr/tuc2019-repo/TUC2019_FullPape...er_Tassi_tuc2019.pdf

As the sediment transport implementation work is now focused on GAIA and as there is currently no manual for SEDI-3D, there will never be for sure now.
Anyway, you can find some SEDI-3D examples in the telemac3d examples, like:
- erosion_flume,
- flume_slope,
- Rouse,
- tidal_flats.

You can find 2 examples of TELEMAC-3D coupling with SISYPHE:
- depot in the TELEMAC-3D examples,
- bosse-t3d in the SISYPHE examples.

Anyway, I am not sure so many users or developers may help you with SEDI-3D.

Hello Gareth,

Do not forget that the dictionary or the TELEMAC-3D reference manual can help you also with the AIDE/helps for every keyword. In particular the keywords related to SEDIMENT INFO rubrique (and levels below).
