Dear Sir:
I get confused with the keyword "flow rate" and "discharge".In English, flow rate mean unit discharge or discharge per width. In telemac2D model, the prescribed flowrate means what? Is it unit discharge or discharge? In the code of telemac2d model (nomvar_sisyphe.f), the flowrate has unit of " M3/S/M". so could you please explain for me? Thanks!

Hello,

What is computed in "FLOWRATE" is the magnitude of velocity coming from TELEMAC-2D (depth averaged velocity) times water depth.
You can have a look at the PREDES subroutine in sources/sisyphe directory or PRERES_TELEMAC2D subroutine in sources/telemac2d directory.

Hope this helps,

Chi-Tuan
