Hello all, I am attempting to couple Telemac2D and Sisyphe to model littoral flow past a marina structure, and I am having some difficulty. This is my first time attempting to couple Sisyphe with Telemac2D.

When I run the telemac model on it's own the resulting velocities look normal, but when I couple Sisyphe with Telemac2D the results show no or very little velocity where I have set my sediment entrance. Please see the attached figures to see the difference in the velocities before and after. The Sisyphe results show that the sediment put into the entrance of the model does not move, despite me increasing the sediment entering the model to an enormous value in an attempt to troubleshoot the issue.

Initially I had suspended sediments and bed load in the sisyphe model but removed the suspended sediments to simplify the model while troubleshooting. I also tried coupling the T2d/SIS modelwith Tomawac to see if the sediments needed some wave action to begin transport, however, this did not change the result.

I have attached my cas and cli files, as well as the LIQUID BOUNDARIES FILE file.

Any help is greatly apprreciated.

Mitch

Hi Mitch, are you purposely using 10cm cobbles? The grain size unit is m!

Hi mafknaapen, unfortunately you are absolutely correct. I simply out the wrong number of zeros after the decimal. I set the grain size to 0.0001 m and sediment transport began. Thanks for your help with this, it's greatly appreciated.
