Hi,

I'm using t3d, tomawac and gaia to simulate coastal littoral drift during a storm. since the waves change direction during the course of the storm, the sediment flows change accordingly. Any suggestions on which B.C I should set at the lateral boundaries? equilibrium or zero gradient?

Thanks,
Shai

So,
i've tried both, and both crash the simulation during a conlit_gaia.f call.

any thoughts?

thanks,

so I think i've narrowed the problem down. I was considering wind and wave effects in t3d, which at times may have created inflected, turning velocity profiles. maybe Gaia doesn't like that.
once I turned the wind off - no problem.
