Hi,

Trying to model dredged sediment plumes using GAIA for the first time. Thanks to Sara I managed to enable point source suspended sediment releases and have the modeL successfuly running.

I have a simple case with 1 sediment class and non-erodable bed everywhere for now.

The model successfully runs, sediments are entering the domain and I am seeing bed evolution at the location of my sources, however, I'm having difficulty in observing the suspended sediment concentrations.

I have output the C2DS1 printout which gives me three variables (name in french and can't understand the last two):

- LAYER1 CONC
- LAYER1 TOCEMU
- LAYER1 PARTHE

I assume that this is referring to the layer of the model mesh (in my case T2D, so 1 layer) and not the bed layers. The issue is that LAYER1 CONC has a fixed value of 50 KG/L and doesn't change over time so I'm a little confused.

Ok my stupidity here....

Realised that the suspended sediment concentrations are given in the telemac results file and that the the LAYER1 CONC is in fact referring to the concentration/density of the bed layers (I had not changed from the default value).

For the moderators, feel free to remove the thread post :)

Hi,

Please, can you share your *.CAS *.CLI file for your appplication ?

Thanks

Ralph
