Hi,

Does the diameter of the bed material has any impact while deciding the minimum distacne of the verticle layers of Telemac 3D model near the bottom?

Can the distance between the first two layers be smaller than the diameters of the sediment particles?

You can. However, if you start doing that, the model assumptions will be unrealistic. If that is what you need, it might be better to switch to full cfd modelling.

Thank you.

So while placing the vertical layers, I should place 2nd layer above the average sediment dia and within the log wall distance (Y+ < 300)?

Also, what do you mean by full CFD? Is there any option in Telemac environment?
