Dear Telemac users,

I try to run a sediment transport model using the internal coupling and the MPI.
but the model stops every time without error message (the output file is on attachment).

i have run independently the T2D and sisyphe simulations and it works, so the problem doesn't come to my casfiles (I guess).

if you have any idea on the cause of this problem ?

Hello,

Can you try to run your simulation in serial computation rather than parallel (PARALLEL PROCESSORS = 0)? Does it work?

Wnen looking at your different PE00003-0000*.LOG files, is there one which has a different size? It is usually the domain where you get your error (or write useless things) and can read an error message.

Last thing, you can activate DEBUGGER = 1 in your steering file to track in which subroutine the errors may occur.

j.dasilva	i have finished to run a simulation with DEBUGGER. the problem seems to come when Telemac call "PROPAG" (after 23 hours of simulation).( sorry i'm a beginner with FORTRAN) @pham: do you have a simply test file for me ( internal coupling T2D ans sisyphe)? because i have downloaded the validation zip but i didn't find a test case for the internal coupling thank you Da silva julien

In sisyphe directory, nearly all cases are internal coupling T2D and Sisyphe. What about a simulation with PROCESSORS PARALLEL = 0? Does it eventually fail? Regards, Chi-Tuan

j.dasilva	hello all, I have fixed this problem ... A wall time was put on the server. The simulation stopped every time after 24 hours. I have not seen this before , sorry for the trouble. Regards Da silva julien
