open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi,
In the steering file, I set the sediment properties as following:

MEAN DIAMETER OF THE SEDIMENT =0.002;0.0039

SEDIMENT DENSITY = 2650

When I run the telemac, there appear an error message as following:

"slide not implemented with graded sediment"
The whole error message is in the attached file.

What is the reason for this error?

Hi
In such case, you should take a look to your configuration file and also to the dictionnary.
If you search SLIDE, you will find that this is a parameter which allow to take in account the key-word FRICTION ANGLE OF THE SEDIMENT for the computation of slope stability.
Then it's easy to understand that this option is not available (for the moment) when you have graded sediment (more than 1 class).
Solution -> Put the keyword SEDIMENT SLIDE to it's default value (NO)
