Unsteady wave file input in SISYPHE 11 years 8 months ago #8021

Hello,

I'm trying to simulate sediment transport under wave and tide action with SISYPHE but I have a problem to import the unsteady wave data (TOMAWAC results) into SISYPHE. My idea was to internally couple TELEMAC2D/SISYPHE and input wave data (HM0 TP DIR) in clandestine variables within TELEMAC but SISYPHE doesn't seem to recognize them.

Is there a better approach to input unsteady wave data in SISYPHE?

Does the internal coupling of the 3 modules is possible?

Thank you in advance,

Dear Benruest,
To perform an "external" coupling with a file coming from a Tomawac simulation, in the T2D file, you must specify:
COURANTS DE HOULE = OUI
FICHIER DE DONNEES BINAIRE 1 = name.file
and define:
NOMS DES VARIABLES CLANDESTINES =
'DIRECTION MOY ';
'PERIODE PIC TPR5S ';
'HAUTEUR HM0 '

In the Sisyphe's file, you must specify:
PRISE EN COMPTE DE LA HOULE = OUI

Yes, we are still performing some test about that. Once the model will be validated, we you let you know.

Best,

Pablo

Thank you Pablo.

Strangely, it is exactly what I have done but the simulation stops with this error message:
DONNEES DE HOULE MANQUANTE
HAUTEUR HM0
PERIODE PIC TP5R
DIRECTION MOY

Does the clandestine variables in TELEMAC are read before calling SISYPHE? It looks like SISYPHE doesn't receive those variables.
