TOPIC: no results in Littoral test case

Hi,
I'm trying to run the test case "Littoral test case" from the example folder. The simulation runs without any complaints, but when I open the results-files they're all empty. Am I doing anything wrong or is there a known problem with this test case?

Hi,

In the Littoral test case the number of time step is equal to 100, and the graphics writing time step is also 100, therefore only two time steps results, that is the starting and the end will be written in the result file. For example the lines as mention below, taken from t2d_littoral.cas.

PAS DE TEMPS           = 10.
NOMBRE DE PAS DE TEMPS = 100
PERIODE POUR LES SORTIES GRAPHIQUES = 100
PERIODE DE SORTIE LISTING =10

Can you post the telemac result file (i.e res_t2d_littoral.slf, please if possible compress as zip) which you have got from the model run. I am using Telemac version V6P3, and the result are fine. Which version of Telemac are you using?

Hi!
I'm using v7.0.1 and the only thing I changed is the graphic output period from 100 to 10.

I'm attaching the t2d_littoral.slf

Hi,

I have not tested the simulation with v7.0.1 . I shall test it with same version and the same changes which you have made, and check the results.

Hi,
I tried running the littoral case with version v7p0r0 and v7p0r1,
however I am not able run the simulation with any of the mentioned version

I am getting an error as indicated in the listing file.

Can you please post the fortran and the steering file copy which you had used in running the simulation.

I'm attaching all my files for the case. In the best of Worlds you should only need to run the runfile.bat.

Hi,

I think the files have not got attached. Try attaching the in compress zip format, I think the .bat file may have to be renamed as .txt for attaching.

Ok, I'm trying once more. I've renamed the .bat-file

EDIT:
It doesn't work to add the .zip-file. So I add the steering-files and the fortran files

Hi,

I am getting the same error as mentioned by me with any of the SISYPHE simulation run using version V7P0. I think there may some other problem with my V7P0 config file, I shall first try to correct the problem. I wonder as any one else have got the same issue with V7P0 TELEMAC. I am using opensuse 13.1 X64.

Hi Sebjam,

I am able to run the simulation now in version V7P0. It was due to error which I have mentioned in post www.opentelemac.org/index.php/kunena/scr...-python-code-runcode

But as you have mentioned, I am also getting the same results if I run the case in V7P0. Running the case provided in Version V6P3 gives the expected results.

I shall make as comparison and try to find out as why the same results are not being repeated in the example of Littoral case in version V7P0.
