Hi,
i'm a new user of tomawac.
I'm simulating a propagation of waves with different wave heights through a modified subroutine limawac. It works without other conditions(bottom friction, wave breaking) but how can i consider the other variables like bottom friction, wave breaking ?
For example when i run the simulation considering the bottom friction tomawac gives me back the error in the image.

Thank you!

Hello,

I am sorry I do not understand your question very well. Would you like to add bottom friction and breaking dissipation in your simulations? If it is what you were asking, you just have to add the keywords Depth induced breaking dissipation (equal to 1 to 4, depending on the model you choose) and Bottom friction dissipation (equal to 1).

If you have other questions, I suggest you join your parameter and fortran files in your next post so that we can understand your problem more easily.

Best regards,

Elodie

Hi thanks for your answer,my problem is simulate the temporal variation of waves (with a modified limwac) considering the bootm friction and the wave breaking. I used the modified subroutine limwac shown in this Topic www.opentelemac.org/index.php/kunena/19-...n-of-wave-and-limwac
Is there another method to simulate the temporal variation of waves?

Thank you!
