Hello,

I just want to be sure of something I found out using winds file between Tomawac 6.2 and 6.3.

For Tomawac 6.2 the time values have to be provided in the format : YYMMDDhh (YY : year, MM : months...) and the keyword "DATE OF COMPUTATION BEGINNING" ("DATE DE DEBUT DU CALCUL") must be set in the steering file, in the same format - moreover the YYMMDDhh in the winds selafin file have to be written as real, single-precision numbers.

For Tomawac 6.3 the time values are numeric (hours, seconds...) and written as real, single-precision numbers. The keywords "TIME UNITS- and "TIME SHIFT IN WINDS FILE" have to be set accordingly. Whether we provide a start date in the winds file or not (using IPARAM10 = 1) does not matter. Am I right ?

Hello,

Yes, the date is not taken into account and the keywords "TIME UNITS- and "TIME SHIFT IN WINDS FILE" only refer to the files. Actually I found many cases where users tried to do this with their own implementation, so I added these keywords.
