open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Bonjour à tous,

après installation de Telemac et configuration du path, matisse ne s'execute pas. J'obtiens le message d'erreur suivant :

Je précise que j'ai vérifié l'execution de Rubens et celle-ci ne pose pas de problème.

Il y a surement un problème d'initialisation de variables d'environnement mais je vois pas comment remédier au problème.

It seems the setup program supressed the empty directory temp in the bin directory.

Please check this point and if necessary create a directory temp inside bin.

I have tested the trick but it did not work. I have made an attempt with fudaa-prepro and surprisingly I have been able to run matisse but here I was not able to import lines or points for the bathymetry ! I checked the DOS command and the error came from tabxyz2dxf.exe that was not found, I copied the executable into the bin directory and the import was again impossible with the message "impossible d'importer les données" !

If you have another idea I'll be happy to test it.

About the problem of matisse launch in dos command, could you:
- Check there was no Rubens.exe process running on your computer
- Check the directory C:\TELEMAC\V5P9\BIN\temp is empty
- suppress the # in lines 207 and 214 of runmatrub.pl (in bin directory) to allow the script writing some informations on screen

-> then you test and copy us the result

I've the same problem of jchauchat so I did what suggested (creating empty temp in bin and modifying runmatrub.pl ). Then I get this message:
mytmp=Nome immagine PID Nome sessione Sessione utilizzo

Hereunder is a small list of test
in a cmd windows, run rubens
in another cmd windows, try the following command

tasklist
tasklist /FI "imagename eq rubens.exe"
tasklist /FI "imagename eq rubens.exe" /FO list
tasklist /FI "imagename eq rubens.exe" /FO list | find "PID"

if a rubens.exe process exist, you should see successively

all the processes
only the rubens process
the rubens process presented by lines
the PID number of the rubens process

If this test works and the matisse launch crash, that means you have a problem in the line 205 of runmatrub.pl

For you information ....

The actual version of the Matisse launcher does not work properly on particular windows installation. This problem was detected first 5 years ago on Windows server installation but the exact configuration wich generates the problem is very difficult to identify.
Depending on the used configuration, it is necessary to modify manually the launcher in order to desactivate the part that verify the correct eXecution of Rubens.

The Matisse launcher was modified 2 years ago in order to solve the encountered problem on Windows server.
Nevertheless, it seems that the modification didn't work well sometimes.

Actually I had the same problem then I decided to try Fudaa and it worked. I tried once again with the command line and surprise ! Matisse was there running perfectly. until now I can't explain what happened.

It seems that the problem comes from the runmatrub.pl script file ...

When I use fudaa-prepro I manage to launch matisse but I can't import points and lines. But when I launch matisse from the command line I obtain the following result.
