open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

I've attempted a clean re-install of telemac v7p2 and v7p3 using the automatic windows installer but can't seem to get the parallel configurations to compile (I was able to get the scalar version to compile without a problem). The error I get is the same for both versions and occurs when the executable "splitsel" is being created.

I've attached the command line output noting the error (for my attempt compiling v7p2r2). I've also attached the config file I've been using (for v7p2r2). For the config file, I started with the version provided by the install (named systel.cis-windows7.cfg) but had to update the names of the target directories of "incs_all:" and "libs_all:" so they were correct for my directory names.

I'm running Python 2.7.5 and gfortran version 4.10.0 20140629

At this point, I'm at a loss as for what to do next. I cannot decipher the error message given in the cmd terminal. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

You might be missing some libraries from mpich in you libs_all.
Such as libmpl.a and libopa.a.

Have a look at the library in mpich folder.

Here is what was included in the mpich2/lib/ directory (see attached). I see libfmpich2g.a, libmpi.a, and libmpicxx.a. I don't see either file you mentioned. If I need them, how do I get them. Furthermore, why wouldn't the automatic installer include these files?? Thanks.

This was what I add in some of my install file.
But i checked with my Windows install and I have the same one you have.

You can try adding the other two.

Hmm. I suppose it is worth a shot. Where would I find them? If that doesn't work, do you have any more suggestions? I'm guessing there is a problem with mpich2, but I'm not sure what exactly.

Just for everyone's information, the same kind of compilation error (somehow related to SPLITSEL) may be obtained for both scalar and parallel configurations, with gfortran and ifort compilators.
I noticed this today while trying to compile v7p3r1 on a Win7 PC.

I have not used the automatic installation but simply copied-pasted the v7p3r1 folder on my PC since compilators (mingw64...), MPICH and METIS already were on.
May this be a reason for the trouble?... Does the automatic installer does some particular thing related to SPLITSEL?
