Trying to install using the automatic installer, but keep running into a few errors. Here is what happens:

After the automatic installer is done downloading the source code, the message box saying compilation can take up to 30 mins pops up. I click okay, and then a few seconds later the error in image_1 shows up, followed shortly thereafter by error in image_2.

When I try to compile from the cmd using compileTELEMAC.py, I get image_3 as a print out in the terminal.

Does anybody have some insights on how to overcome this?

Hi,

please remove "-dredgsim" in your config file (systel_v8p0.cfg), which you should find in
C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v8p0\configs\

Then re-launch the compilation.

Thank you Juliette. After doing that I ran into an error requiring me to place -ccp under [win7gfors] cmd_obj in the systel_v8p0.cfg file.

After that everything compiled nicely except for mascaret with this error:

Missing cmd_obj_c in your configuration file to compile mascaret C dependencies.

I am not sure how to properly configure the configuration file to get over this error. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Also, just for my own curiousity and also because you answer might help others reading the forum, but is there a reason why these steps are not already hard-coded into the configuration file that downloads with the automatic-installer?
