The compialtion problem is just missing in the listing...
Try to run the previous command, without the --clean and the --rescan and also without the redirection to file
If it crash at the same moment, please copy the end of the listing manually

it only remains a compiler problem with mascaret module.
I suggest to run once again the command compile_telemac but with -m "system -mascaret" option.
This will remove mascaret module from the list of module and will allow you to finalize compilation (I hope).
Removing mascaret module is not so problematic as it's strongly advise to use it with the Qgis dedicated plugin (called mascaret) in which the compiled version is include

I'm not clear about command remove the mascaret. Could you write the full command?

python c:\opentelemac-mascaret\v8p1r0\scripts\python3\compile_telemac.py -m "system -mascaret"

I tried twice.
1. run : python c:\opentelemac-mascaret\v8p1r0\scripts\python3\compile_telemac.py -m "system -mascaret" shown in 1.jpg

2. run : compile_telemac.py -m "system -mascaret" shown in 2.jpg and 3.jpg

you could forgot the method 2 as none of the parameter given after compile_telemac.py are take in account...

try the first just with -b option
you could also try -m -mascaret without system and without ""

I tried both, and got the same error results.

So edit your systel.cfg file and in the line modules, where there is system written, add -mascaret after system.
run the python ...\compile_telemac.py
