Hi,

is there exist a possibility to go through different version of the model ? I explain myself : I have an already-working model wich perfectly run with the Version 7.3. But actually, I have the version 8.2 installed on my computer. I got some transcripts erros when I try my model with the actual (due to the version I'm using). So how can i manage this problem ?

Do I need to make coexisted the two version on my computer ?

Thanks

Hello,

Depending on what you want you have 2 options I think:
- re-install a release 7.3 only to run your working model which ran perfectly, but with bugs potentially solved in 8.0 or 8.1 release (8.2 is planned at the end of this year), that is not recommended,
- update your model to release v8p1r1 (the latest tag available) by reading the NEWS.txt file to see the new features and changes in 8.0 or 8.1 (change in the keywords or FORTRAN FILE). For FORTRAN FILE, it is recommended to start from the the latest subroutines of the source code and then include your changes. If your changes dealt with user subroutines, you should read the latest user manuals in v8p1r1 where a list of classical user subroutines is given in one appendix for TELEMAC-2D and TELEMAC-3D.

Hope this helps,

Chi-Tuan
