open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

An error occured when I tried to install the telemac-mascaret on my laptop.(please see the attached file).

I tried several times, and met the same problem.

Is there anyboby who can tell me what the error means and how I can fix it?

I think the mpi installation failed probably because you don't have admin rights on your laptop...
You could try to manually launch the mpi installer as in the global installer this is done automatically with fixed options...

Probably you dont have NetFrameWork (2.0?) installed. Installing Netframework beforehand should resolve the problem.

I downloaded the configuration file from the installation instruction page , reedit it and saved it as the new configuration file .

when I tried to compile telemac, the error message showed

"Not able to get to the configuration file :\....."

So why the new configuration file can't be recognized although it is just at the right place?

What is exactly the message?
The configuration file is at the right place with the other one but you should indicate which one you want to use:

• by using -c <name of systel file> in the command line
• by defining SYSLTELCFG environment variable

The message is "Not able to get to the configuration file : C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v8p1r0\configs\systel_v8p1r0.cfg".

I made the configuration file "systel_v8p1r0.cfg" with notepad.

When it is pasted in the "configs" folder ,the file "systel_v8p1r0.cfg" is signed with a question mark, as shown in the attached picture.

Is that the reason the file can't be recognized?
