open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi,

I'm triing to run Matisse from FUDAA (version 1.1RC13) on OS Windows in order to generate a new mesh but I have a problem.
When i launch Matisse, a window opens with these informations:

Lecture du fichier 'config\MatisRubens.ini'... OK
Lecture du fichier 'C:\TELEMAC\Pre_Post\config\sysprot.ini'...
Creation des variables d'environnement ... OK
Verif absence de Rubens ... OK <not running>

ERREUR: Probleme de lancement de Rubens
Execution stoppee.

So I decided to launch Rubens from FUDAA to check the problem and it seems to me that it works for a first stage but it has problems in a second stage saying "Unknown Format read in the image"..

I checked in the forum but it seems to me that I do not have the same problem as the other users.. Can someone help me?

In the user manual of Matisse, I saw that a X/Motif multi windowing environment must be prepared. Do I need to install it anyway also with the FUDAA??

Hello,

Because I am biased towards it, I would recommend you try using Blue Kenue (from our Canadian colleagues) for the generation of your mesh.

You can still use FUDAA for everything else.
