I setup Python 2.7.4 on my PC at C:\Python27\
I type on DOS command windows "\> python -V" but it doesn't work.
on "cmd.exe" windows display:
'\' is not recognized as an internal or exteral command, operable program or batch file

==========
So, what I can do next? I don't continue with this error.
==========
Thank you very much!

Hello,

Isn't it :

python -V

only ? I would say that \> represents the prompt. I'm no specialist but well... maybe it helps, it seems that it is just the command invoking Python to get the version number ?
