it's just to try to understand why you didn't have any result on the 2 first line of the listing.
In the sub getSystelIni (perl script) I've seen that could generate confusion.

Try to add some printf in the runtel.pl script. like between line 1116 and 1121 to check the values of variables (in getSystelIni for example and just after the call to this subroutine)

OK, I removed the environmental variable I created, but it worked??

I'm confused about adding printf lines to the runtel.pl file. Lines 1116-1121 are printf lines. So I'm not sure what I would add?
