Hello Jason,

user_corfon subroutine modifies the bottom elevation for TELEMAC-2D. To do the same with TELEMAC-3D, you should use user_t3d_corfon subroutine, e.g. the enclosed file.

If you are new in TELEMAC and want to model sediment transport, you are now advised to use the new sediment module GAIA. Every new feature is only available for GAIA, not SISYPHE.

Hope this helps,

Chi-Tuan

Hello again

FYI in release v8p2, the yen example is more described (with more formulae tested) in the GAIA validation document than in the SISYPHE validation document.

Hope this helps,

Moreover, rather than starting from a constant depth initial condition, you could start your computation from a 2D result file. Please have a look at the TELEMAC-3D user manual (keywords 2D CONTINUATION and FILE FOR 2D CONTINUATION. You can use the same restart file as in 2D.

Thanks for the answer Chi-Tuan.
I use the subroutine user_t3d_corfon.f in my case file.Telemac3d can run succissful now, however when i trying to coupled with SISYPHE it shows a error message.
Is there something wrong in my case file?

Hello,

This error message is typical of a problem when using MURD schemes (like N-type, PSI-type, LIPS, i.e. 4, 5 etc, except the method of characteristics or SUPG).

First things to try are to decrease the time step and see if no water may occur or not in the domain.

To be able to run you example, I have had to add a few options which are used for the 2D example. Please see the enclosed steering file.
Some of them are the default one for TELEMAC-3D (NON-HYDROSTATIC VERSION = YES) or a recommended value (FREE SURFACE GRADIENT COMPATIBILITY = 0.9).

The computation is running until 7,200 s. I let you check if the results are OK or not and maybe tune your steering file.

Hope this helps,

Chi-Tuan
