i'm facing a problem with 3d modeling

PLANTE: PROGRAM STOPPED AFTER AN ERROR
RETURNING EXIT CODE: 2
Any idea for this error.

It seems that you are using an option not expected by TELEMAC-3D.

Can you upload your steering files please?

I wonder if you try to use a OPTION FOR THE TREATMENT OF TIDAL FLATS = 2. If it is the case, please use the default and recommended one (= 1).
Anyway, option 2 is an old option which is not mass-conservative. It is not possible for most of the advection schemes with tidal flats now, e.g. distributive schemes (e.g. NERD with number 13 or 14, or LIPS).

Indeed, the choice for the keyword OPTION FOR THE TREATMENT OF TIDAL FLATS was wrong.
You can also use TREATMENT OF NEGATIVE DEPTHS = 2 with MASS-LUMPING FOR DEPTH = 1. That prevents from getting negative depths in case of dry areas.

You also have a warning message in the listing if using advection scheme NERD = 14.
You should then add
SCHEME OPTION FOR ADVECTION OF VELOCITIES : 1
SCHEME OPTION FOR ADVECTION OF TRACERS : 1

because the default option 4 is to use LIPS advection scheme (the default one).

If you want to have less diffusive advection schemes that work with tidal flats, you should use the default choice for advection schemes, in particular for tracers:
SCHEME FOR ADVECTION OF TRACERS = 5
SCHEME OPTION FOR ADVECTION OF TRACERS = 4
You can try later.

I advise you to read the appendix E of the TELEMAC-3D user manual to get the recommended options.
