Hi I am new in TELEMAC.I found a example case YEN.I want to replace telemac2d to telemac3d.
In telemac3d case file,I set mixing length as turbulence model,Nikuradse law and FRICTION COEFFICIENT FOR THE BOTTOM =0.003.
The result seems not smooth. Is there something wrong in my setting?
You can try to:
- decrease the keyword FREE SURFACE GRADIENT COMPATIBILITY, e.g. 0.5 or even up to 0 if you see improvements,
- decrease the time step,
- increase the keyword IMPLICITATION FOR VELOCITIES.
Have you tried another turbulence model over the vertical? k-eps for example?
Hope this helps,
Chi-Tuan
