Hello!

I was verifying the velocity results calculated by telemac-3d and a trouble puzzled me.

I first used telemac-3d to simulate the tidal current in an area during 8.14 ~ 8.25, and verified the velocity during 8.23 ~ 8.24.The verification result is good.

But when I changed the simulation time to 8.14 ~ 8.24(Only simulate to the verification time period, no more calculation),there is an obvious error in the verification result (also 8.23 ~ 8.24).

It seems that the result has some errors at the last stage of a simulation.Could someone please tell me what are the reasons of these errors?

Hi Gareth
My answer has no sense!
I just try to show you that your question is impossible to answer.
We're not magicians nor soothsayer.
We don't know your model and you don't give any clear explanation...
What the meaning of 8.14 ~ 8.25 and other values.
The only real think I could really say according the 2 pictures is: the dots which should be the measurements I suppose are the same but the blue line is different...

Hi coulet

I'm sorry I didn't make myself clearly.

I have solved this problem and this just caused by carelessness (using different value for the keywords 'FREE SURFACE GRADIENT COMPATIBILITY').

All regards

Gareth
