I'm using v9p3.
I get this (see outlog.txt) weird msg in the print file when trying to restart a computation that was killed.
what am I getting wrong? my .cas file is attached also (t3d.txt)

Hi,

You can double check the file name for PREVIOUS COMPUTATION FILE
Moreover, I think you don't need to use RESTART MODE and RESTART FILE.

If restart.slf was generated by RESTART MODE = YES and RESTART FILE FORMAT let to its default value (SERAFIND = double precision), PREVIOUS COMPUTATION FILE FORMAT should be set to SERAFIND, as written in the TELEMAC-3D user manual + TELEMAC-3D reference manual.

Can you visualise the PREVIOUS COMPUTATION FILE with a post-treamtent tool (e.g. Paraview, Blue Kenue, Fudaa-Prepro) without error?

Can you visualise with command plot.py mesh2d name_of_file ?

What returns the command run_telfile.py scan ?

The error message in your listing file means there is an issue when reading the PREVIOUS COMPUTATION FILE.

Can you also send your last steering file you have run to get the same error?

I got it to work by having the simulation end when it's supposed to, i.e., restart mode doesn't work for cases where the computation was killed.
