My goal is to model the effect of a floating dam on the advection dispersion of algae rafts.
I know algae transport (lagrangian) hasn't been transferred from telemac 2D to 3D (?) but what would be the best strategy if I wanted to take into account the hydrodynamic effect of a floating barrier (dam) in telemac 3D ?
Would there be an equivalent to bottom friction on the surface layer ?
Best regards,

Hi
there is an example named particles in Telemac-3D and as far as I know, the module algae-transp.f which is in bief directory is compatible with 3D so I'm not fully sure that algae transport hadn't been transferred from 2d to 3d...
By the way, about the effect of a floating dam, I would say you should probably manage it by adding some piece of fortran code ...

Christophe
