Does somebody know how TELEMAC calculates heat flux when the user doesn't provide data about latitude and longitude?

WAQTEL is supposed to use latitude and longitude to calculate Solar Radiation. Is there some default value to latitude, longitude and hours of sunlight that TELEMAC uses when we don't provide these kind of data?

Thank you!

Hello,

Indeed, if you do not set the keywords LATITUDE OF ORIGIN POINT, LONGITUDE OF ORIGIN POINT, ORIGINAL DATE OF TIME, ORIGINAL HOUR OF TIME in the TELEMAC-3D steering file, the ones without values will be set to default value (resp. 0, 0, January 1st 1900 and 0h).
In $HOMETEL/examples/waqtel/heat_exchange/t3d_heat_exchange_rain_wind.cas steering file, you can read that the 4 of them are set.

Hope this helps,

Chi-Tuan
