Hello,

I'm trying to run the same simulation on both PC and Cluster (with 1 processor). But the model worked on my PC but didn't work on the cluster.

I got errors from the cluster like:

ELEBD: ERROR OF NUMBERING IN THE ELEMENT: 72902
POSSIBLE REASON:
THE BOUNDARY CONDITION FILE IS NOT
RELEVANT TO THE GEOMETRY FILE

But it was OK in my PC. What's wrong with this? Does it have something to do with the systel.ini? Thanks in advance!

This looks like a dos-2-unix conversion missing -- could that be the case ?

Sébastien.

Do you mean I should convert all the input files to unix format by using dos2unix command?

I converted all the input files into Unix format. After that I still got errors like:

PLANTE : ARRET DU PROGRAMME APRES ERREUR
RETURNING EXIT CODE: 2
0.01user 0.00system 0:00.01elapsed 84%CPU (0avgtext+0avgdata 11472maxresident)k
0inputs+0outputs (0major+779minor)pagefaults 0swaps
Duration of job : 0 seconds ( 0:0:0 ) (system=0 sec)

I also tried to keep the slf format unchanged and just converted other files. It didn't work. The error was the same as before.

Only the ASCII files should be converted to unix. The BINARY files should not -- that include the GEO file.

If that does not work, it may mean that the CONLIM file is not in phase with your GEO file, and I would advise you to re-create your CONLIM file (using Blue Kenue for instance).

Hope this helps.

Thanks Sébastien!
I'll try to regenerate the COMLIM file and run it again.

Hi

I've already seen some cases where the COMLIM file is quiet big giving such results due to a problem during the transfer between PC and linux cluster. the transfer was made in ASCII mode (using SSH secure shell) and there was a bug in the middle of the conlim file which generate the telemac crash.
Solution: made the transfer in BINARY mode and eventuelly convert the file on the cluster fromdos or dos2unix

Hope this helps
Christophe

Thanks Christophe! That makes sense.
I'll try to made the transfer in BINARY mode and convert the ASCII files after then.
