Dear All,

I have a simple question about initialization, I know that for complex initialization we are suppose to set the INITIAL CONDITION = PARTICULAR and then program condim.f subroutine.

But I am only interested in using the portion of condim.f for tracer initialization and the hydrodynamic variables can be initialized with CONSTANT ELEVATION keyword, how do I go about that ? When ever I try to amend condim subroutine the parallel simulation is failing. I am attaching my Fortran file, I have changed two lines after line no. 715 and some more tracer initialization between line no 855-869.

All help is greatly appreciated.

When you add your own program in the particular part of the condim program, you should comment the call plante and stop line!
I think this is why you have some problems.

It looks like your code is correct for the tracer, but in the "particular" section you just need to remove the warning to users and the stop that is just after your 2 added lines, it is just there to stop users that have not implemented their initial conditions. So remove these lines and it should work.
