Hello,

I just start my learning from Telemac2D to Telemac3D and first of all I try to run a validation case 'lock exchange' in my computer, but there're always mistakes at the begining. Having checked my cas file and cli file, I cannot find where the problem is.
so far, I haven't run any 3D case successfully...

Can anyone please give me a hint? thanks very much.

With best regard.

Hi
It's a problem with your configuration file.
Not sure but try to add ' to the name of tracer.
Maybe you should write the name in upcase ...

To be sure, you could have a look into lecdon_telemac3d subroutine to see exactly what telemac wants.

Hoep this helps
Christophe

Dear Coulet,

Thank you so much for your help.
I checked the lecdon_telemac3d subroutine according to your suggestion, then the problem revealed. It was the name of the tracer which must be SALINITY or TEMPERATURE when using them to compute water density.

Thank you again ~

With best regard.

Hello,

Yes, the salinity and temperature have no specific rank in the list of tracers, and the program just finds which is what by their name in the parameter file. Only when there is sediment the sediment must be the last tracer.
