Hi all,
I curently want to evaluate the possibility to settle sediment in reservoir, and the influence of relative positions of intake and offtake.
For that, I've made a model of cylindrical reservoir with two source points that represent the intake and the offtake of the reservoir. Hydrogram of both sources are given in the "sources file", and sediment concentration at the intake is constant, given in the steering file. Knowing that, it's easy to evaluate the mass of sediment entering the reservoir, but I also want to know what is the mass of sediment that flows outside and the mass of sediment that stay inside the reservoir. How can I evaluate that? I have seen that at each time step and at the end of the computation, there are informations about sediment balance given on the listing, but at what exactly correspond all these informations? Can they be useful?

Indeed this informations are only available in the listing file, they are usefull for you.
The described the sediment balance. So you should find the mass entrikng in your domain, the mass leaving the domain and also the total mass of sediment in the domain
