is there a maximum number of punctual sources in telemac3d?

Six sources are defined in my *.cas file, divided by semicolons set for the following keywords:

ABSCISSAE OF SOURCES
ORDINATES OF SOURCES
ELEVATIONS OF SOURCES
WATER DISCHARGE OF SOURCES
VELOCITIES OF THE SOURCES ALONG X
VELOCITIES OF THE SOURCES ALONG Y
VALUE OF THE TRACERS AT THE SOURCES

The positions and elevations of the sources are taken from points in the mesh. The first three are recognized where as the latter three are neglected.

(by the way: no fluctuations of velocities occur as long as discharge at the inlet boundary and discharge at the source are not too close together, seen after several trials)

Hello,

The maximum number of sources is MAXSCE and is set to 100 in declarations_telemac3d.f

The number of sources NSCE is the number of abscissae of sources that you give, so it should be 6, unless some figures are written after 72 columns (if you add subroutine lecdon_telemac3d.f in your fortran file, you can print NSCE after the line NSCE=DIMEN(2,80) and see what you get). You can split the list of abscissae into 2 or several lines if the 72 columns are not sufficient.
