open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hello everybody,

As I said before I want to make the modelisation of a panache,
with a source at 30 Meters deep.

1°) I have made a 2D Mesh, with Blue-Kenue, and create a Selafin file with
Bottom and surface Libre, how can I be sure that rigth for the Bathymetry.

2°) Is it possible to just generate the 3D Mesh without otherthing
, with TELEMAC 3D, and visualising iT with Blue-Kenue

3°) Is it necessary to use TELEMAC 3D, or is there a trick and use TELEMAC 2D

Hello,

Please refer to the Telemac-3D user manual. The 3D mesh is built dynamically at every time step, as the depth evolves. So there is no need of a geometry file with a 3D MESH, the geometry file is always a 2D file, that can be used as well by Telemac-2D or 3D.
