open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi,
I am trying to run a 3d model with a Flow boundary as Q(1) and WL as (2) the telemac2d runs correctly for the application but telemac3d reads the elevation but not the flow. I tried it just with flow at a single boundary but still it did not read it. Am I doing some thing wrong or is this a bug?

I attach the necessary files and would appreciate any assistance

I am running telemac3d on windows 7 and in local parallel mode I also tried it with parallell processors equal to 0 but with no success.

Hello,

You need to give the :

PRESCRIBED FLOWRATES and PRESCRIBED ELEVATIONS

in your steering file (even fake values) to trigger the reading of the liquid boundaries file. Otherwise the program will take the values in the boundary conditions file. Another possible mistake is to have tabs in the file (we are adding this possibility for the next version).

I had tried that previously with spaces in the lqd file instead of tabs and also with prescribed flowrates and elevations, it appears to read the elevation from thwe file but not the flow rate using the prescribed value from the Cas file.

Jean-Michel you are right it works sorry in the prescribed I had WL as 1 and Q as 2
