Hi,

One interesting question: I'm wondering if it is possible to model turbulence generated by oscillating grids in a mixing box? is this kind of boundary condition easy to impose?
Thanks for any hint.

Best regards.

Hello,

To be sure to understand, do you want to add a local turbulence in the model, to represent moving grids (in this case you know what amount of turbulence you want to add, e.g. thanks to a hydraulic book), or do you want to compute this turbulence by representing the moving grids in the model (in this latter case it is better to say right now that it is not possible) ?

In the first case you could add a local diffusion to the one computed by the program, it would be done at the end of the subroutine computing it (that depends on the chosen model...).
