open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hello everybody!

I try to use "SUBROUTINE FLOT3D" for drogues. All is right in telemac2D. But in Telemac3D, I've an error message:

"DERI3D: ERREUR D'INTERPOLATION :
LARGAGE DU FLOTTEUR 1
EN DEHORS DU DOMAINE DE CALCUL"

I'm surprising because my drogue is IN the domain! isn't it?

I would say that you have also to give ZFLOT(1,1) ? Your X and Y are in the 2D domain, but the program also checks on the vertical that the point is above the bottom and below the free surface.

By the way the output of floats in Telemac-3D is not very convenient (the coordinates on the vertical are given in the transformed mesh, i.e. between 0 and 1, 0 for the bottom and 1 for the free surface), this will be changed in the next version.
