Hello all,

I have a simple question. In this 3D geometry, what do TELEMAC3D considere as bottom and side wall???

Thank you in advance.

Hi
The bottom is the surface covered by the mesh (even there is no water on it)
The side wall is the vertical surface which follow the boundary points.

Hope this helps

So here, I don't have a lateral boundaries? And it's not worth to put in my steering file "law of friction in lateral boundaries"????
OR, my lateral boundaries are just the two lines where the parallel plans converge????

Yes with this water level, you don't have lateral boundaries.
The steering file didn't presume the result of your simulation so if the water level grow up, lateral friction could be take in account but here there is no effect.

Hope this helps
