I'm doing a test on a 100km*100km basin with 50m depth. I want to modelise the effect of wind .
In the steering file I put the following lines:

VENT : 1
COEFFICIENT D'INFLUENCE DU VENT : 1.25E-3
VITESSE DU VENT SUIVANT X : 0.
VITESSE DU VENT SUIVANT Y : -10.
/

The problem if the following, when I examine the velocity at the surface of the water basin, I obtained velocities comprise between 6 and 9.7 m/s. This is impossible.
I did something wrong but what ?

MARON Philippe	hello Chi-Tuan, That's true, I worked with an very old version of the user manuel (5.8) and there is nothing on the value of the coeeficient. Now I have the 6.2 version !!! I did a quick test with COEFFICIENT D'INFLUENCE DU VENT : 1.25E-6 And the result seems to be correct Thank you Philippe
