Hi,
I have run the test case "tide" supplied with version 6.3. It uses a tidal coefficient database to generate the ocean boundary conditions. It ran successfully (in scalar mode) with no changes required to the input files.
However it reports a very large mass error (see below). Is this really happening or is it some artifact of the way the model is set up?

from sortie file :

VELOCITY PROJECTION STEP
MASS BALANCE

WATER
MASS AT THE PREVIOUS TIME STEP : 0.1609671E+11
MASS AT THE PRESENT TIME STEP : 0.1609750E+11
MASS LEAVING THE DOMAIN DURING THIS TIME STEP : 466025.1
ERROR ON THE MASS DURING THIS TIME STEP : -1253922.
FLUX BOUNDARY 1: -23301.25 M3/S ( >0 : ENTERING <0 : EXITING )

FINAL MASS BALANCE
T = 45000.0000

--- WATER ---
INITIAL MASS : 0.1595576E+11
FINAL MASS : 0.1609750E+11
MASS LEAVING THE DOMAIN (OR SOURCE) : 0.4139002E+10
MASS LOSS : -0.4280741E+10
