Hi,
I am currently trying to model a flow in a flume with Telemac3D. Is there any possibility to impose a turbulence intensity profile at the inlet?
I am looking for the name of the variable I have to work on (AK, AKN?) as well as the name of the subroutine I have to modify (kepcl3?).
Thank you.
Cheers
Jérôme

Hello Jérôme,

Yes I think it is in kepscl3 that you can prescribe a profile on k and epsilon. If I am remember well, it is AKBORL and EPBORL that you should change, BOR like BORD in French and L for Lateral. You will find hardcoded examples in the subroutine but in your case there will be a function either of the elevation or of the plane number.

With best regards (from Beijing),

Hello Jean-Michel,
Thank you very much for your rapid answer.
I changed the variables KBORL and EBORL in kepcl3.f.
It seems that the profile is correctly prescribed.
Thank you
All the best

Hello Jérôme,

That's it, you corrected my mistake in the names.

Regards,

Jean-Michel
