open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

unfortunately this doesnt seems to work - appears I must have done something to the installation directories

Hi Yugi,

I've been trying for a while to successfully update to v7p3. I have followed the general process of
1. Deleting existing telemac files
2. Installing the pre-cursory tools; e.g. gfortran, python....
3. Checkout telemac files
4. setting the user PATH and SISTEL_CONFIG Environment variables
5. Creating a sistel.cfg file
6. Creating the telemac Dos prompt shortcut
7. Running compileTELEMAC.py

Unfortunately I am getting an error (see attached).
I am generally confused about a couple of things with the v7p3 I hope you could answer them.

1. When I download the repository I can't seem to see a difference between v7p3r0 and v7p3r1. How are v7p3, v7p3r0 and v7p3r1 related? Does it matter how I name my files in my Telemac-mascaret directory? I currently just have a folder called v7p3 in my directory (see attached)
2. Is my attached sistel_v7p3.cfg file correctly set up for the latest version of v7p3 with parallel processing?

I have now managed to solve my problem. The Artemis example is working fine.

I solved the problem, as advised, by updating to the latest version. It took me a while to update to v7p3 as I had quite a lot of trouble with my systel.cfg file. For any beginner users I would advise speaking to someone who has a proven systel.cfg file as I spent a very long time trying to update mine from v7p2 to v7p3 with no success.
