Hi all,

I have been trying to perform an agitation analysis using Artemis and I having some problem. I started by using the files for the Port examples and modified it. I'm able to run simulation, however I'm getting this message :

BERKHO (ARTEMIS): YOU REACHED THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF SUB-ITERATIONS FOR CURRENT OR TETAP :) 16

I reduced the mesh size in order to help, but now I got this error message :

|At line 116 of file C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v7p0\sources\utils\bief\leclim.f (unit = 7, file = 'ARTCLI')
|Fortran runtime error: End of file

I added all this files necessary to run the simulation.

Thanks

Hello Pierre-Marc.
It seems that you changed the mesh, but didn't update the cli file to match the new mesh structure.

First increase MAXIMUM OF SUB-ITERATIONS to a number larger than 16 to see if it will converge at some point. If it is unable to converge then decrease DISSIPATION RELAXATION (default is 0.5 I think) to help the solver converge.

If DISSIPATION RELAXATION is small it will converge but will take longer. If it is large, then it will probably never converge. You have to find the optimum value.
Best Regards,
Costas
