Hello,

I started modeling on artemis and the following error message appeared : solid point between two liquids points.

I thought the mesh size was too large. So I dropped the mesh and made a test with only two groups (and solid edge incident wave) which worked well.

Thinking the problem solved, I created several groups (26) and 17 associated entities. But when I run the calculation, the same error message appears.

What is strange is that between the test works well (two groups) and the second test (26 groups), I have not changed the mesh but only the number of groups and entities.

Do you have an idea of the solution?

Thank you very much.

Hello,

Specialists of Artemis may also answer but generally speaking a single solid point between two liquid points will make no solid segment, hence it is forbidden. If it is not your case then it is a mistake somewhere in the algorithm and/or in the way of checking, and we would then be keen to receive the case to see what happens really. You can also check in the boundary conditions file if there is an isolated solid point on some line (line beginning with 2 if it is like the rest of Telemac).

With best regards,

Bonjour,

Merci
