open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

I am a new user of artemis. I read manuals and now I test programm. But my results is false.

Could you tell me if my process is good (so I do falses of my value/model), or if I forgot a step of programming?

I load bathymetry data (.xyz) with blue Kenue.
I created closed line and I generate mesh indoor.
I interpolate data and I do a projection of this with "map object" to create BOTTOM.
I save in .slf

I open this file with fudaa, I verify mesh and I create a new project.

I modified the type of boundary condition on 2D vue and after the fortran Programm.
I initialize the file with cote=0 (I try the 4 possibilities)
I modify parameters (Periode, direction, ...)


For result, I ask Height and the Phase in .res and I try to view with blue kenue.

---> I have only a sinusoidal "wave" at the border point where my incident waves is. The others are null.
For phase, results are more coherent.

I believe I find a part of my error. My bathymetrique data was positive.

I'm having the same problem as Matthias; the wave height is null inside the domain althought my bathymetric data are ok.

I did all the steps correctly, from mesh editing (Matisse), to 'conditions initiales and conditions limites' defining and fortran programming..
but the result is that the wave doesn't propagate correctly.

Hi,

Do you use HBT or HB%R to impose your wave heigth?
You have to use HBT in the 6.1 version.

If you're already using HBT, please can you send your case?
