Dear all,

I have noticed that the newer versions of Artemis contain an option called 'AUTOMATIC CALCULATION OF PHASE' . It is not in the manual as far as I can see. Can someone please explain this option? Is it no longer necessary to manually prescribe phases along the entire wave boundary?

Hi,

This option was implemented in V7P0. It should be in the corresponding manual.

This option can be used only in sequential and will not work for paralell computations.

Basically, it computes automatically the phase distribution on the inlet boundary, so the user doesn't need to provide it in BORH.

Hi,

Thanks. As far as I can see, the 7.0 manual is not yet available for download from the website, but I'm hearing it will be made available soon? I'll check the examples as well.
